Edgewater Beach Resort

This site is nice. Level, spacious. The park is quiet, and close to town. Also on site is a pool and laundry room which takes quarters or online payments. There are only two RV sites, and the rest are cabins and houses. The water does have a lot of algae and sometimes gets very funky smelling. A couple of guys did turn the pumps on and tried to rake as much as possible around the dock area to push it out into the lake. That made it so much better. You really cannot fish from the bank where we were, as it is pretty shallow. People who were fishing off the docks weren't catching anything, but they do catch nice fish during different times. If you have a boat, there are boat slips available. They were catching a lot of fish up the lake. We saw so many fish jumping, and turtles playing in the water. Many birds, and a rabbit roaming around. We would stay again if in the area. Water, electric, and sewer worked very well. No issues. Communication was spot on.

We loved it. Family really liked the lake house. All minor things were taken care of immediately. One suggestion. Blinds for sun room.

We had a lovely stay the four bears suites are very roomy and comfortable. The grounds and the pool were all lovely and fabulously maintained. The owners were very nice and accommodating even when we showed up late for check in due to insane traffic during our travel. We will definitely be back!

Excellent place to fish and rent boats. Also the guides will show you the right equipment to buy for the time of year for fishing. Boats were in great condition and worked properly. All controls on the boat worked properly. We rented a flat boat or pontoon boat and it was super fun. Easy to navigate even for beginners and fun to pull fish on the rig. Plenty of room for coolers and people. Fits about 6 comfortable but can fit more... Keep in mind more people the boat will travel slower. Great group of people running this organization!

We booked a great little site through hipcamp and had a great time. Location was great to access the surrounding areas for hikes and play. Pretty views and pretty quiet area.

We absolutely loved the area and our home, too. The resort prepped both gas and charcoal grills for our arrival! They had a bag of coals available :) Our rooms were fully equipped with all necessary items to have a good time! The surrounding areas were gorgeous to walk around and take pictures. The nearest grocery store was a 5 minute drive from the resort. This place offers multiple opportunities for fishing from docs and boats.

Very peaceful & quiet. Scenic views were amazing from the sunrise to the sunset and everything in between even the family of deer we seen right outside the cabin.

Absolutely loved it here. We went here for my mom's 50th birthday get away for peace and quiet. The host was very lovely. Highly recommend coming here if you like fishing, outdoors, or peace and quiet!
